These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sandy, an SMS-based family task assistant operated by Mr Roboto LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By texting Sandy, you agree to these Terms.
Sandy is an AI-powered assistant that helps families coordinate tasks, manage schedules, and communicate with service providers via text message. Sandy uses artificial intelligence to understand your requests and take action on your behalf, including contacting third-party service providers (dentists, tutors, salons, etc.).
Your Sandy account is created when you first text Sandy and complete the onboarding process. Your phone number serves as your account identifier. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through messages sent from your phone number.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Sandy. By using Sandy, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
Sandy does: Contact service providers on your behalf, manage your family calendar, send reminders, coordinate schedules, and follow up on tasks.
Sandy does not: Make medical decisions, provide legal advice, make financial transactions (other than subscription payments), guarantee service provider availability or pricing, or replace professional judgment in any field.
Sandy is an AI assistant. While we strive for accuracy, Sandy may occasionally misunderstand requests, provide incorrect information, or make errors in scheduling. You should verify important appointments and details independently. Sandy will always ask for your confirmation before making commitments on your behalf.
When Sandy contacts service providers (dentists, tutors, restaurants, etc.) on your behalf, Sandy acts as your agent. You authorize Sandy to communicate with these providers, schedule appointments, and relay information between you and the provider. Sandy is not responsible for the quality, availability, or pricing of third-party services.
Sandy offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription at $29/month. Billing is handled through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, Sandy will continue working through the end of your billing period, then your account will be deactivated. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation to allow for reactivation.
You agree not to use Sandy to harass, spam, or send abusive messages to service providers or other individuals; to conduct illegal activities; to impersonate others; to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content; or to attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse Sandy's AI systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Sandy if you violate these Terms.
Sandy, including its name, design, and underlying technology, is owned by Mr Roboto LLC. Your messages and family data remain your property — we do not claim ownership of information you provide to Sandy.
Sandy is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mr Roboto LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Sandy. This includes, but is not limited to, missed appointments, scheduling errors, provider miscommunications, or any actions taken by third-party service providers.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Sandy shall not exceed the amount you paid for Sandy in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mr Roboto LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Sandy, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with third-party service providers facilitated by Sandy.
We may update these Terms as Sandy evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via text message through Sandy. Continued use of Sandy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California.
